Saadhu / Design language
Less noise.
More meaning.
A shloka is the starting point, not an ornament. Form, type and colour make room for its meaning.
01
Restraint
Mineral, charcoal and washed slate form a quiet field. A single oxidised accent adds tension without turning the verse into decoration.
02
Language
Devanagari carries the central word. Clean grotesque text brings clarity; monospace labels keep the surrounding information precise.
03
Structure
Ruled grids and architectural shapes give the composition discipline. Empty space is active: it lets the word remain the focus.

Drop 001 / Anitya
Impermanence, held in form.
Bhagavad Gita 2.14 describes sensations that arise and pass. In our reading, the threshold-like arch suggests passage, the circular accent marks a moment, and the surrounding space refuses excess.
The acid-washed cotton and unisex oversized silhouette bring that restraint to everyday clothing. The poster gives the same idea a place in a room.
